Network Explorers

Objective: Understand the basics of networking and set up simple networks.

• Activities:

  • Day 1: Introduction to networking concepts (LAN, WAN, routers, switches).

  • Day 2: Hands-on activity: Setting up a simple home network.

  • Day 3: Understanding IP addresses and DNS.

  • Day 4: Network scavenger hunt: Identify and map out network devices.

  • Day 5: Mini-project: Create a network map of the camp or a mock home network.
